Pedal for a cause this ‘Maharashtra Day’ by joining hands with a group of passionate cyclists from Thane city at the ‘Zero Emission Night Ride’. The ‘Zero Emitters’ now into their third ride have members across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Panvel and other pockets of the city and intend to ‘Go Green’ this Saturday Night.
The aim of the ride:
Ride to promote a healthy living and contribute to nature(fun ride).

- No entry fee
- Bring your own bikes(helmet and light mandatory)
Zero Emission Start Point:(Date: 30th April)
- Gurudwara on the service road
- Timings – 09.30 – 05.30 a.m.
- The ride will pass through Ghatkopar, Powai, Marine Lines and back
Things provided by organizers (no charges):
- Water
- Enerzal
- Biscuits
- Support vehicle(only in case of emergencies)
With a fun ride across the city, the organizers Digamber Chaudhari, Anuj Phadke, Anand Puranik and the team are expecting at least 300 cyclists for this night ride.
Organizer Anuj Phadke went on to say, “We have been organizing the ride for the past five years and due to its positive response and increased awareness, we now have 300 cyclists riding for the cause.”
When we asked Digamber Chaudhari about the ride, he stated that “ZE is a concept where most of the riders give one day from the month and don’t use their personal vehicles and reduce the carbon footprint”.
