SHIMANO XTR / DURA-ACE QUICK-LINK CN-M9100 12-SPEED CHAIN

The Shimano CN-M9100 chain for XTR and Dura-Ace 12-speed has enlarged inner plates which create a perfect connection to the Dynamic Chain Engagement+ chainring. In this way, it contributes significantly to smooth shifting performance. Vibrations are avoided, chain hold is improved and pedalling efficiency is increased (HG technology). The SIL-TEC coating of the outer plates and rollers ensures smoother, low-wear running. CN-M9100 chains come with hollow-formed pins to save weight and are directional. As they are approved for E-bikes, there is also an extra-long version with 138 links. The matching SM-CN910-12 Quick-Link master link is included.

The 12-speed HG chain delivers smooth power transfer with a tighter chain guide and a quieter and smoother drive thanks to larger parts on the end of the inner plates, in combination with the Dynamic Chain Engagement Plus crank or chainring. The combination with Hyperglide+ facilitates shifting without interrupting pedalling.

SIL-TEC
SIL-TEC is Shimano’s extremely low friction surface treatment. SIL-TEC is a superior, advanced coating process that improves system performance by using embedded fluorine particles. SIL-TEC products run smoother and show less wear under all conditions.

Directional
The CN-M9100 chain has an asymmetrical design. This means the running direction must be observed during installation. The specially-shaped tabs optimise engagement on the sprocket and result in even smoother shifting, even under load. To save weight, these chains have recesses on the inner link plates. The side with the marking is the outside.
